Arkay
Mitchell Kaneff is the Chairman/CEO of Arkay, one of the world’s premier folding carton companies since 1922 and the main source for Mitchell’s book on family succession, “Taking Over: Insider Tips from a Third-Generation CEO”. Grateful for Arkay's success for over a century in business, Mitchell acknowledges the important role his family and fellow Arkay teammates have played in its longevity.
Arkay had its origins on the Lower Eastside of Manhattan, where his grandfather, Max Kaneff, started it in 1922 under its original name: Ar-Kay Printing Company. Today, Arkay continues its long tradition of excellence by providing the highest quality folding cartons to some of the most globally recognized companies.
Using advanced cutting-edge technologies and working with a palette of decorative special effects – from vivid colors and cold foil processing to Arkay’s soft touch for a unique, yielding finish – Arkay partners with designers to meet any visual challenge, raising the bar for value-added packaging worldwide.
Currently, Arkay operates from its Design Studio n Hauppauge, New York and its manufacturing facility in Roanoke, Virginia. Proud of its “Made in America” label Arkay’s customers are located throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.
